Your €49 deposit is fully refundable
You reserve a founding seat with a flat €49 deposit, and that deposit carries no risk. This page explains, in plain language, exactly when and how you get it back, and what happens to it if you join.

1. What the €49 deposit is
The €49 is a refundable reservation deposit, not a membership fee. It holds your founding seat at the €399/year founding price (or your team's seats at €600/seat/year, for 3 to 10 seats) and gives you a place in the founding cohort. It is fully refundable on the terms below.
2. Refunds before the cohort starts
You can request a full refund of your €49 deposit at any time before the founding cohort start date. No questions asked. It is one click, and you get every cent back.
To request your refund, email us at hello@pmopenlearning.eu from the address you used to reserve, or use the refund link in your deposit receipt. The refund is issued through our payment provider's dashboard (see section 5) and returns to your original payment method.
3. If the founding cohort doesn't run
Open Learning AI is a new programme, and the founding cohort only runs if enough people reserve a seat. If we don't reach enough reservations to run it, every deposit is refunded automatically. You don't have to ask, and you carry no risk. We do.
4. If you join the cohort
When the founding cohort is confirmed, you complete enrolment at the founding price. At that point your €49 deposit is credited in full toward your first-year membership, so you only pay the balance. The deposit is never an extra charge on top of the membership.
5. How refunds are processed
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Refunds are issued by us through Stripe and returned to your original payment method. Once processed, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider, typically a few business days. Any VAT charged on the deposit is returned with the refund.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy sits alongside, and does not limit, any rights you have as a consumer under EU and national law. Because the deposit is fully refundable before the cohort starts, you are protected regardless. If you have any question about your refund, contact us at hello@pmopenlearning.eu.
