Terms of Service
Plain terms for the Open Learning AI annual membership and the fully-refundable €49 reservation deposit. We've kept this readable on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@pmopenlearning.eu and we'll explain it.
Last updated: 5 June 2026
1. Who we are
"Open Learning AI" is the brand under which Open Learning AI provides an annual AI-literacy membership for project managers and their teams. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Open Learning AI; "you" means the person or organisation reserving a seat or holding a membership. These terms govern your reservation and, if you join, your membership.
By paying the reservation deposit you confirm you have read and accept these terms.
2. What the membership is
The membership is an annual subscription that gives you access, for the membership year, to:
- The flagship course (the AI-Native PM foundation).
- The compliance spine, reviewed quarterly against current guidance.
- The module library of self-paced modules.
- The community and its real-case demo ritual.
We may add, update, or retire individual modules and community features over the year as the tools and the guidance change; this is part of keeping the membership current and does not reduce what you signed up for. The membership grants you a personal, non-transferable right to access the content for your own professional use; you may not resell, redistribute, or share your access.
3. Training, not legal advice or certification
Professional training, not legal advice, not an official EU certification. Open Learning AI helps you and your team build and evidence AI literacy. It does not make your organisation compliant with the EU AI Act or any other law, and it is not an accredited or official EU credential.
Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires organisations to take measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among staff. Role-appropriate training is one such measure, and that is what we provide and document. Your organisation remains solely responsible for its own compliance posture, including deciding whether the training is sufficient for its situation. Nothing on this site or in the membership is legal advice; for legal advice, consult a qualified professional.
Where we mention professional development units (PDUs), these are in progress and are not currently offered. We do not promise PDUs, certificates of accreditation, or any official recognition.
4. The €49 reservation deposit
Reserving a founding seat means paying a flat €49 reservation deposit. This is a refundable hold, not the membership fee. It does three things:
- Fully refundable. You can request a full refund at any time before the founding cohort starts, no questions asked.
- Credited toward your first year. If you join, the €49 comes straight off your first-year membership fee.
- Locks the founding price. It holds your seat at the founding price (see section 5) for the founding cohort.
The deposit does not by itself enrol you in the membership. When the founding cohort is confirmed, we will contact you to complete enrolment and pay the balance of the first-year fee. Full refund mechanics are in our Refund Policy.
5. Pricing
All prices are in euros (EUR).
| Individual (founding) | €399 / year (founding price) |
|---|---|
| Individual (regular) | €700 / year (after the founding cohort) |
| Team (3–10 seats) | €600 / seat / year |
| Reservation deposit | €49, fully refundable, credited on joining |
The founding price of €399/year is held for founding-cohort members who reserve; the regular price afterwards is €700/year. Team membership is for 3 to 10 seats at €600 per seat per year.
VAT. Payment is processed by Stripe; the seller of record is Open Learning AI. Prices are shown in EUR and are inclusive of any applicable VAT; where VAT applies, it is accounted for and remitted by us. The price you confirm at checkout is the price that applies. Team membership can be invoiced per seat on the same basis.
6. The founding cohort only runs if enough seats are reserved
Open Learning AI is a new programme. The founding cohort runs only if enough founding seats are reserved to make it viable. We decide, in good faith, whether that threshold is met.
If we go ahead, we'll contact you to complete enrolment. If we decide not to run the founding cohort, every deposit is refunded automatically; you don't need to ask, and you carry no risk. We may also change the cohort start date, in which case your deposit stays fully refundable up to the revised start date.
7. Your responsibilities
When you reserve or join, you agree to give accurate information (including a work email that matches your deposit, so we can reach you about the cohort), to use the membership for your own professional development and not to share or resell access, and to engage with the community respectfully. For team membership, the person reserving confirms they are authorised to do so on behalf of the organisation and its named seats.
8. Intellectual property
The courses, modules, compliance materials, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and provided to you under a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for the duration of your membership. You keep ownership of anything you create or present in the community; by presenting a case to the cohort you allow other members to learn from it within the community.
9. Liability
We provide the membership with reasonable skill and care, but we don't guarantee any particular outcome, including any compliance, regulatory, audit, or commercial result. Decisions you make using what you learn are yours. To the extent the law allows, our total liability connected to your reservation or membership is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and none of this affects your statutory consumer rights.
10. Privacy and data
How we handle your personal data, including the legal bases, the processors we use (such as Stripe, our payment processor), retention, and your rights, is set out in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change that affects you, we'll let you know by a reasonable means (for example, by email). The "last updated" date at the top shows when this version took effect. Your reservation and any refund rights are governed by the terms in force when you paid your deposit.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [TODO: governing-law jurisdiction; founder/entity to confirm], and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the EU country where you live, which continues to apply.
